Here are a few facts about the NISV regulation in Germany: The Federal Ministry prepared, developed and adopted the NISV regulation. These requirements and specifications for cosmetic service providers were published on March 25, 2020.

The necessary proof of professional competence can now be obtained by successfully completing a special NISV training course. The regulation naturally also specifies the requirements that must be met, which are implemented through the training courses.

Aim of the NISV Regulation

The aim is to provide comprehensive protection for end customers from the harmful effects of this type of radiation. The NISV regulation also contains general requirements for the operation of these systems.

In order to be admitted to the final examination, proof of participation in this learning module must be provided. The prerequisite for this is participation in learning module B “optical radiation”.
